Next Step in Infant Massage
Wellbeing for Mothers & Babies Training
The Wellbeing for Mothers & Babies Programme is a unique and innovative course that makes an extraordinary contribution to the holistic wellbeing of both mothers and their babies. The response from instructors, mothers, and organisations has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the programme’s ability to nurture confidence, connection, and emotional wellbeing during the early years.
This comprehensive training equips instructors with the knowledge and skills to support mothers in understanding the fundamental aspects of physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing for themselves and their baby. Through the use of Wellbeing Story Massage, supported by our beautifully illustrated storybook, instructors learn how to facilitate meaningful experiences that strengthen attachment, communication, and bonding.
The programme also enhances facilitation skills, helping instructors confidently lead discussions, icebreakers, and reflective activities while creating and holding safe, supportive spaces for families. Additional techniques include guided relaxation, breathing exercises, gentle movement, and simple back massage, all designed to promote wellbeing and connection.
Created by Kate Pigeon-Owen, an International Association of Infant Massage Trainer with more than 20 years’ experience supporting families, this CPD-accredited programme is the ideal progression for qualified Infant Massage and Baby Yoga Instructors seeking to expand their practice and impact.
On successful completion of the training, instructors will be qualified to deliver the Wellbeing for Mothers & Babies Programme as a structured five-week course for mothers and babies aged 3 months to 1 year.
